Obituary of Zosia Marie Roberts-Stewart

Zosia Marie Roberts-Stewart Bloomingburg, NY – Zosia Marie Roberts-Stewart, age 43, passed away on June 20, 2018 at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx following a brief illness. Zosia was born on March 8, 1975 in Glens Falls, NY the daughter of Ronald and Audrey (Woodard) Roberts. Zoey was a 1993 graduate of Granville Central School and a 1997 graduate with honors of the College of St. Rose with a degree in Pre-Law. She was fun, kind and full of life. One of her most recent projects was the creation of an organization titled "Empowering Ellenville". This involved the purchase of building and the creation of a program for children who needed something to do or a place to go. She loved her children and all children. As a Mom she was ever present at her children's activities from cheering to sports or whatever was their heart's desire. She loved music, art and dance. Her family kidded that she loved being the center of attention, but it was always done in a loving and social way. In addition to her passion for helping children, it also extended to stray, lost or simply hungry dogs, cats, chipmunks, raccoons, woodchucks or any animal. If they sent out an SOS or simply appeared in her radar, they were cared for as best she could do. Zosia was also the Vice Chairman for the last 12 years to her native American tribe The Western Mohegan Tribe and Nation and she will be missed by all. She was predeceased by a brother Joshua Covino. Zoey is survived by her loving husband Sean Stewart, her parents Ronald Roberts (Nancy) and Audrey Clark (Ken) all of Granville. She will be deeply missed by her children Garth Joseph Jr, Analda Joseph and Alezandra Stewart all of Bloomingburg. Zoey was blessed with a granddaughter Adaline Fisher. She also leaves behind her brother Ronald "Ronzie" Roberts Jr of Eldridge and sisters Kimberly VanAllen and family of Stuyvesant, NY, Susan Roberts and family of Florida and Lacy Prevost of Granville in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 5 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville with Rev. Charles Roberts presiding.
