Obituary of Charlotte Ruth Chamberlain

Charlotte Ruth Chamberlain Granville, NY – Charlotte Ruth Chamberlain passed away at Slate Valley Center in North Granville following a long illness. Charlotte was born on July 30, 1940 in Hampton, New York the daughter of the late Charles and Lena (Holcomb) Tanner. She was a graduate of Whitehall High School. She worked for many years at Tatko Brothers Slate in Granville. Charlotte loved going to yard sales and auctions. She enjoyed bluegrass and country music and spending hours reading a good book. She was predeceased by her parents and two husbands: Charles James and Lionel Chamberlain, her stepfather Edward David and a step brother Edward David Jr. She is survived by her brother Jimmy Tanner (Linda) of Middle Granville, Charles Tanner of West Granville, a stepbrother Leonard David (Sally) of Granville, stepsister Lucy Bennett (Gary) of Whitehall and three nieces Grace Forrest of North Granville, Melissa Lavin of Salem and Jody Tanner of Hudson Falls. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 AM at the North Granville Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY.
