Barbara was my mother’s cousin- their fathers were brothers. When Barbara’s mother, a widow, was alive and a member of the family died, they were always the first to call on the family.When Barbara’s mom died, Barbara carried on the practice. Our family always knew she would be there, and they appreciated it. There isn’t much family left, with all of Barbara’s sad losses and the passing of many of our family members, but I have fond memories of Barbara ‘s faithfulness. My sympathy to her family.
