Obituary of Helen H. Edmunds

Helen H. Edmunds Pawlet, VT – Helen H. Edmunds, age 80, passed away on March 8, 2017 at Indian River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. Helen was born on October 17, 1936 in Danby, Vermont the daughter of the late Cecil and Madeline (Fredette) Harrington. Helen worked for many years at Orvis in Manchester. She also tended bar at both the VFW and Eagles in Manchester. She was a member of Morningstar Order of the Eastern Star in Pawlet. Helen was predeceased by her husband George in 1998, by a son Perry, and by a sister Dot White and a brother Jack Colvin. Survivors are her son Cecil and his wife Karen and two grandsons Andrew and Matthew. She is also survived by her siblings: Janice Fredrick, Donald Harrington, Carolyn Burden, Gerald Colvin, Frances Granger and John Colvin. A funeral service will be celebrated at the Pawlet Community Church on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Northeast Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, March 11 from 3-5 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY.
