William M Martindale, Jr.
Hudson Falls, NY – William (Bill) Michael Martindale, Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at home.
Bill was born on December 12, 1975 in Rutland, Vermont the son of William and Sherry (Petty) Martindale.
He attended school in Granville. Bill married LeeAnn Walrath on April 5, 1997 in Corinth, NY.
Bill was an auto mechanic. Most recently he worked at Auto Broker and Merv's Auto Repair in Hudson Falls, but had been employed at several other repair shops over the years.
William enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He liked old cars, Dodge trucks and dirt track racing. His favorite music was the "old" country music. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be long remembered for his unique sense of humor and outspoken lifestyle.
Bill was predeceased by his twins, Shawn and Sierra Martindale, a nephew Corey Martindale, his grandparents William Martindale, Charlotte and Raymond (Petty) Bardin. He is survived by his wife LeeAnn, daughters Ashley and Katlyn and son Logan all of Hudson Falls. He is survived by a grandmother Catherine Martindale, parents William and Sherry, a brother Michael Martindale (Laurie) of Hampton, a sister Sarah Martindale of Granville, NY, his mother-in-law Liz Sherwood of Hudson Falls, sister-in-laws Carrie Walrath of Poultney, VT and Danielle Hammond of Hudson Falls and a brother-in-law Roblee Mattison of Fort Ann. In addition, he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Some dear friends who will miss him are Shannon, Jack, DJ, Merv, Terry, John and Glen. In addition there were many "adopted" kids, he called his own.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 23 at 4 PM at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville, NY with his dear friend Rev. Carol Lyon presiding. Friends may call from 1 – 3:45 PM on Sunday. Following the funeral there will be a gathering at 8396 SR 22, Granville, NY 12832 to continue the celebration of William's life.
