Obituary of Linda Ann Tanner

Linda A. Tanner Middle Granville, NY – Linda A. Tanner, beloved wife of James Tanner passed away at her home following a short illness on Thursday, October 14, 2021.Linda was a beautiful blessing to her three daughters and a treasured gift to her family and friends, and is now with her heavenly Father. She joins her parents Wesley and Violet (Steves) Belden, her brother Reggie, sister Ellen and sister-in-law Nancy. Also Mike Robarge, Owen Lavin, Sr. and Lesley Currier in addition to all her loved one who have gone before her. Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, James Tanner. She is also survived by her daughters Grace, Missy and Jody. Her grandchildren Kayla, Leah, Holly, Sammi and Nicholas. She will be missed by her extended family: Barb Lavin, Cheryl Robarge, Francis Belden, Donny Belden, Robert and Shirley Belden, Bill and Kim Belden, Keith Belden and Dave and Bernedette Belden. She was blessed with great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Linda and her family wish to thank everyone who has given love and support. A thank you for the meals and help given to her and to her family in her final months. Thank you to Russ and Missy for being the best neighbors and always helping out with things she and Jim can no longer do. And to her trusted best friend, Sally, thank you, for always loving me. She enjoyed sitting on the porch with Jim watching the wildlife around the pond. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening and bowling. And especially the Friday night card games. She loved every moment spent with friends and family. As each holds her memory in their heart, she carries their love on her journey. There are no goodbyes. She is only a conversation away. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1 PM at the North Granville Cemetery.
