Jean Marie Morrow
Hartford, NY – Jean Marie Morrow, age 92, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 23, 2017.
Jean was born on December 19, 1924 in Granville, New York, the daughter of the late Seldon and Janie (Conety) Oatman.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Everest M. Morrow, four brothers: Stanley. George, Bernard and Thomas Oatman. Jean was survived by four children: William and Thomas, both of Hartford, Brian and his wife Rose of Granville, and a daughter Paula of Hartford. She was blessed with two grandchildren Joshua and Natasha Downey (Kenneth) and a great-grandchild Lucas. In addition, she is survived by her brother-in-law Earl M. Morrow and a special childhood friend, maid of honor and there at the end, Millie Paradis. Also, there are several nieces and nephews who survive her.
At her request there will be no visitation. A graveside funeral will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 1 PM at the Morningside Cemetery in Hartford, NY.
In memory of Jean, memorial contributions may be made to the Hartford Fire Department.
