Margo L. Harrington
Queensbury, NY - Margo Lynn Harrington, age 59, passed away unexpectedly in the Glens Falls Hospital ER on July 16, 2023.
Margo was born in Springfield, MA on May 29, 1964, the daughter of Arthur Gauthier and Rosemary Richard (Wruck).
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was an animal lover extraordinaire. If cats and dogs come to mind, she had both of those, but she loved all animals. Margo was a strong, loving person who lived her life to the fullest. Life might have knocked her down with some blows at different times, but she always bounced right back up, assessed the situation and moved on. In that nature, she was a breast cancer survivor. All who knew her were aware that if you needed help, Margo would lend a helping hand and support in any way she was able to.
Her loving and caring nature lead her to Adirondack Community College where she obtained an associate degree and became a CNA. A very proud moment for her. It was a perfect career choice, and one that many people benefitted from, for having her be their care giver. For her it was a dream job.
Another highlight was the birth of her first grandchild. A milestone moment that brought her great joy as did her entire family.
Margo was predeceased by her father, Arthur Gauthier, stepfather, Karl Richard, her former husband but great friend, Peter Manfredi, infant son Cory, and lifelong best friend and “twin soul” Emily Hilder. She is survived by her mother Rosemary Richard and her children: Jennifer Cabrera (Michael) of Ludlow, MA and sons Kevin Manfredi of Ludlow, MA, Christopher Manfredi of Hudson Falls, NY and stepson Randy Kern (Crystal) of Ware, MA. Margo is also survived by her grandchildren Peter Manfredi, Jr. and Bella Woodard as well as many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister Michelle Smith (David) of Ludlow, MA and a stepsisters Cheryl and Tina Richard, also of Ludlow, MA.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ed Bushey, for his kindness and friendship and for always going above and beyond to help and take care of Margo.
