Obituary of Terry L. Dupont

Terry L. Dupont Mididle Granville, NY - Terry L. Dupont, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her home following a long and strong battle against a terrible illness. Terry was born on October 20, 1952, the daughter of the late William D. and Emma D. (Perry) Roberts. Terry married Neil Dupont and they spent 45 wonderful years together, the love of her life. They went from couple to family with the addition of their two children. Terry took parenting very seriously and was always a part of her children's activities. Their hearts and families expanded even more with the birth of her granddaughter Amelia. She was the light of Terry's life. Terry's family meant more than anything to her. They were her universe. Terry looked forward to Casino days with family and/or friends. She loved those slot machines. She was a very creative person and particularly excelled at quilting, crocheting, making wreaths and decorating cakes for family and friends. She was always up to try any new creative outlet. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and the bonds they all shared. She was a cook at AJ's Restaurant in Granville. Terry also worked at Scotties Coffe Shop for many years as both a waitress and cook. She loved cooking, whether at the restaurant or her family. She managed some wonderful baked goods, always sharing with her family and freinds. Jonathan's friends in Michigan looked forward to Terry's apple pies when she came to visit. Though Amelia lived in Nevada, Terry took advantage of her visits to share some cookie making or cake baking with her sweet girl. Terry was predeceased by two brothers: Thomas and Kent Roberts. She is survived by husband Neil and her two children Rebecca Bartlett (Tim) of Reno, NV and Jonathan of Ann Arbor, MI. She was blessed with her granddaughter Amelia Claire Bartlett. Terry will be long remembered by her siblings John of Gansevoort, NY, Bill (Kathy) and Scott (Mary) all of San Angelo, TX, Russell (Lucy) of El Paso, TX and Melissa Dean (John) of San Angelo, TX. Terry's family extended to many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her cousin Sandy Bernard was both a cousin and a dear friend. Terry was very thankful for the help Sandy extended to her through this tough time in her life. Terry's canine companion Tessie, was a faithful friend and protector who misses her immensely. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 10-Noon at the Robert M King Funeral Home, 23 Church Street, Granville, NY Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Middle Granville, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the C. R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, 100 Park St, Pruyn Pavilion, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
