The first time I met Laurie, it was the day my brother Vincent and sister in law Emily moved in together in their first apartment above my parents house. Laurie was outside sitting on the stoop when I came home from work. (Might I add I hadn’t met her a day in my life at this point) but she welcomed me with open arms and a kiss on the forehead and welcomed me and my family into hers. I will never forget her beautiful attitude towards life and her contagious smile. Although she isn’t here physically anymore, her legacy will live on through everyone she left an imprint on through her journey. May she rest easy. Prayers to all her family and loved ones.
