I absolutely adored my Aunt Marj! I have wonderful memories of spending time with her and her daughter, Donna, and being around my favorite animals, horses. My Aunt used to take us to visit their paint horse, Little Cloud, who was boarded in a tucked-away part of Granville. She would drop us off and Donna would have me on the back of Little Cloud while she led us through some pretty wild rides.
I will never forget this one time when they were both trying to get me to hop onto Little Cloud without a saddle. They were both laughing so hard that they were crying while watching my failed attempts over and over again. I never gave up, though, and laughed right along with them. I finally got up there with a little help.
I truly loved my time with my Aunt and cousin, going to rodeos, getting Donna's horses ready for shows, cleaning out stalls, and loving being around them and that world. Nothing in the world could ever replace that part of my life, and I will cherish all those unforgettable moments with my Summer Mom & cousin forever. They were truly organic times.
