Karen Fryer and Sallyann Raino posted a condolence

On behalf of myself and my sister we would like to offer our most sincere
condolences. Your mother was a very special person to our father
Ben Raino and as time has passed to the both of us. Not only did we look
forward to seeing dad but also stopping by her room to say hi. She always had a big smile and yes something witty to say.
Your mom became the thorn in dad's side, which was a good thing. She
was the reason many times for him attending the daily activities, no was never the right answer. She was his biggest fan when it came to art projects and always encouraged him to participate.
Over the past year with no visitation I (Karen) would occasionally drop off some books to help feed her love of reading. Although she was quick to
tell me what she did and did not like. She would always send
a little note that would give us a glimpse of what our dad was up to.
When my dad was moved to B wing they were not allowed to socialize. Between him not being able to hear and the isolation his cognitive level started to decrease. Because your mom was such a positive, encouraging force they moved him back in the fall so that they could spend time together. I remember how happy yet heartbroken we were when she wrote that she was being moved. We were going to miss her terribly.
Our dad also has COVID and is in quarantine. We have no way of knowing if he has heard the sad news.
We are all going to miss her smiling face and infectious laugh. Please know your family is in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your loss.
Fondly,
Karen and Sallyann
